Other Notes:
Printing P60’s:
The Micropay Professional program has the capability to print all of the P60 details – ie: It is not necessary to get special stationery from Revenue, the program will print out 2 copies of each P60 in full. Click Here to see a Sample. You can print the P60’s on to plain white paper to any printer. It is not necessary to print the P60’s to the same printer as you print the payslips. Ie: If you print the payslips onto Track paper, to an OKI Dot Matrix printer, you can always print the P60’s onto plain A4 paper, to a laser/inkjet printer in your office. P60’s only print out for employees who are still active in your Downloads at year end time.

P35 File:
The Revenue’s deadline for your P35 submission is Feb 15th 2011. If you are using the ROS website to submit your P35 file, please note the following:
  • To create your P35, please refer to your user guide Micropay Page 20 / Quickpay Page 21.
  • When creating your P35 file, make a note of where you have saved it. You will need to know this exact location when you are uploading it to the ROS website.
  • After saving the P35 file Do Not try to open it (ie: do not double click on it, and attempt to open it in excel, or notepad or any program.). This will corrupt the file, and the ROS site will reject it.
  • If your P35 file is rejected from the ROS website, go back into Micropay Professional and re-create the file(s). Try to upload it to ROS again.
  • ROS will only accept one P35 file per Tax Registered Company. If you have a company which has two or more payrolls (ie: weekly & monthly), you must create a consolidated company to merge the data, and generate the P35 file in there.
