SAGE launches best ever Sage 50 Accounts integration with ACT Crm

SAGE have finally launched an integration with its activity managemet software ACT that for the first time directly teansferrs quotes, orders & invoices right into SAGE 50 Accounts without any need for SAGE Accounts being installed on the PC.



Commenting on this development Mark Clinton Managing Director of BNC in Naas & Finglas said that this will enable small companies in Ireland to have an integrated IT System rivalling that of much bigger companies. It will allow companies to streamline their sales process right through to order dispatch. It will allow managers to manage their sales force and maintain an active and accourate sales pipeline. In the services sector the ACT SAGE 50 integration will enable companies to keep track of maintenance agreements and service contract details backed up by a selection of management reports.

Concluding Mr Clinton said that this is a really exciting development and will lead on to real improvements in employee productivity and ultimately contribute to lower costs, this will save "soundbites of time" all day long by all that use the system, possibly adding up to the equivelent of one employees salary per year in the larger organisation.

At the SAGE Ireland Annual Awards Ceremony held on Thursday evening Ms Lainey McCabe was awarded the “Support Person of the Year 2009” award. “This is one of six awards which Business Network Communications have been given over the last four years” said Mark Clinton Managing Director, “this demonstrates our commitment to providing services of the highest quality to our growing client base” he continued. As Lainey was unable to attend the ceremony the award was accepted by a previous winner Ms Jennie Noons who works as a Business Analyst and Implementation Project Leader with BNC.

“AROMA FOODS GO WITH SAGE 50 and PAYPOINT EPOS”

Topmark Foods Ltd in Clondalkin have recently started a new venture called “Aroma Foods” which is set to be the most successful Asian Food Supermarket in the country. The store opened on 1st of May for what was thought to be a soft opening where friends, business acquaintances and invited members of the public attended. Saturday morning saw a steady increase in trade with Sunday and Monday getting really busy. By the following weekend trading was almost frantic, “we were confident that we would get a good response to the opening” said Tarek Miah of Aroma Foods “but the current response is beyond our wildest dreams” he continued.



Aroma Foods have implemented a SAGE 50 Professional solution using SAGE Paypoint on the checkout counters. The system was implemented by BNC in March 2009 and went live at the end of April. The combination of SAGE 50 and PayPoint EPOS will enable Aroma Foods to effectively manage stock and produce valuable management reports to support the new venture. Down the road Tarek wants to use hand held computers for Stock Taking and for generating stock regeneration purchase orders directly into SAGE 50.
